- TwistDee Valladares revealed on 'Unlocked' — To replace Rachel, Julie Chen Moonves sent herself through the Dining Table Time Machine to December 20, 2023, the night Dee Valladares won Survivor 45. The debut of 'Big Brother: Unlocked' unveiled Dee as the season's third returning alum.
- MomentThe Red Corner and The Crossovers form — Before Dee's first nominations, two alliances took shape around the HOH. The Red Corner: Dee Valladares, Rick Devens, Kamuela Kirk, Haley Thogmartin and Chuk Anyanwu. The Crossovers, where Dee said her loyalty lay: Dee, Devens, Angela Murray, Drew Campbell and Barrett Pfeiffer.
- CeremonyFirst nominations — HOH Dee Valladares nominated Mallory Aurichio, Taylor Brown and Yash Patel, one from each team. Her main target was Yash.

- MomentAngela and Dee compare notes — Returnees Angela Murray and Dee Valladares agreed on the feeds that they were already 'so tired' of Chuk and Haley, whom Dee figured were 'toast.'
- MomentMelody backs away from Mallory — Melody Morris and Lyric Medeiros, two of Mallory Aurichio's closest players, started putting distance between them once Mallory hit the block.

- MomentDrew takes the Court Jesters' plan to the vets — Jason De Puy had pulled Drew Campbell and Melody Morris into The Court Jesters to pick off the returning vets. Drew, a Crossover all along, carried Jason's talk straight to Dee, Devens and Angela.

- CompetitionYash wins the first BB Block Buster, "Do Over" — The three nominees had to name which houseguest appeared most often in a reel of hairstyle-themed images. Yash Patel got it right and took himself off the block, his first comp win.
- EvictionAshley Trail evicted 14–0 — Ashley told Melody Morris that "a whole group" was saving her, and the pitch travelled to Barrett, Drew and Dee. Not one vote went against Taylor Brown.
- TwistThe BB Time Capsule is revealed — Each week for six weeks, America votes one houseguest into the BB Time Capsule to play for a power from a past season, or take a punishment if they lose. Nobody can go in twice, and Julie confirmed Ashley has no way back.
- CompetitionDevens wins the Week 2 HOH — After the live show, a 1992 Nashville comp ran three rounds of disc-sliding, and Rick Devens edged Haley Thogmartin 35–27 for his first Head of Household.

- TwistThe Toolshed mega-alliance forms — Devens merged the Crossovers and the Red Corner into one eight-person bloc: Barrett, Chuk, Drew, Haley, Kamu, Devens, Dee and Angela. Drew Campbell named it "The Toolshed."
- TwistAngela is the first houseguest sent to the BB Time Capsule — America sent Angela Murray in first. She lost the challenge and took the punishment: Vince's BB27 "hard-boiled detective" egg suit for a week.
- CeremonyDevens nominates Melody, Lyric and Jason — The block was cover for the Toolshed's real plan: backdoor Rome Seymour if the veto was used. Jason, shut out of the new alliance, fought with Angela and insisted the HOH was really hers.
- MomentRome melts down at Haley — At the nomination ceremony a spiraling Rome Seymour told Haley Thogmartin she was snarky and "unbearable," and a couple of the men stood up to defend her. Rome later broke down crying with LaTrice Verrett.

- CompetitionDevens wins the Week 2 Power of Veto — In a 1967 "Flower Power" comp, players raced to build a 12-piece festival poster. Rick Devens won, with Angela Murray and Barrett Pfeiffer drawn to play.

- MomentRome and Lyric stage a fake breakup — Rome Seymour and Lyric Medeiros staged a public "breakup" to lower Lyric's threat level so she could work votes freely.

- CeremonyDevens saves Lyric and backdoors Rome — Devens pulled Lyric Medeiros off the block after she promised never to nominate him, and named Rome Seymour as the replacement. Final nominees: Rome, Jason and Melody.

- CompetitionJason wins the Week 2 BB Block Buster, "Pirate's Booty" — The nominees sorted twelve treasure pieces (emeralds, pearls, rubies and doubloons) onto four poles in matching stacks. Jason De Puy finished first, beating Rome Seymour and Melody Morris.
- EvictionRome Seymour evicted 12–1 — Rome became the first casualty of Devens' Toolshed. Taylor Brown cast the only vote to keep him.
- MomentRome declares his love for Lyric, who voted him out — Before the results Rome said "Lyric Medeiros, I am in love with you" and dipped her for a kiss. On the couch Julie revealed his lone vote came from Taylor, not Lyric.
- CompetitionKamu wins the Week 3 HOH, "Wrestlegasm '85" — Players watched a 1985 wrestling match and answered true/false questions, one wrong answer and you were "down for the count," with BB alum Jessie Godderz cameoing. Kamuela Kirk outlasted the field, the third straight Toolshed HOH.

- TwistDevens wins the Diamond Power of Veto from the Time Capsule — America voted Rick Devens in, and he came out with the Diamond Power of Veto: good at any of the next six veto meetings, it saves any nominee and lets the holder name the replacement himself. He told only Dee.
- CeremonyKamu nominates LaTrice, Mallory and Lyric — BB28's first all-women block. Lyric Medeiros was the pawn; the real plan, pitched by Drew Campbell, was to backdoor Jason De Puy.
- MomentThe Honor Society and the Handymen form — Dee Valladares, Angela Murray, LaTrice Verrett and Taylor Brown formed the four-woman "Honor Society," while Kamu and Drew Campbell became a two-man deal called "The Handymen."

- CompetitionLyric Medeiros wins the Week 3 Power of Veto, "Pickleball" — In a comp set in July 2051, players danced with a giant pickle partner and then paddled balls into a scoring zone. Lyric beat Mallory Aurichio in the final round; LaTrice, Kamu, Jason and Haley also played.

- MomentKamu hijacks Mallory's tea party to expose Jason — HOH Kamu turned Mallory Aurichio's dress-up tea party into a grilling of Jason De Puy over rumors he was gunning for the "Icons" (Dee, Devens and Angela). Kamu wouldn't name his sources, and it fizzled into silence.
- MomentJason's kettle march — That night Jason grabbed a kettle and marched the hallway banging it, hailing "Queen Kamu, queen of the tea party."

- EvictionJason De Puy evicted 12–0 — Kamu's backdoor landed with no votes against LaTrice. Jason waved off Kamu's goodbye hug ("don't touch me") and handed out tea bags at the door. Julie told him he'd placed top three in every Time Capsule vote.
- CompetitionHaley Thogmartin wins the Week 4 HOH — After the live show Haley won the Week 4 Head of Household: the Red Corner's fourth straight HOH (Dee, Devens, Kamu, Haley).

- CeremonyHaley nominates Drew, Melody and Taylor — Melody Morris and Taylor Brown were the expected chairs. Drew Campbell was the shock: sold a pawn pitch, he was really the Toolshed's target, with Angela Murray pushing hardest.

- CompetitionTaylor Brown wins the Week 4 Power of Veto, "Murder at the Masquerade" — At a masquerade hosted by BB27's Morgan Pope, players drank from goblets where one pour was "poisoned"; drink poison twice and you were out. Chuk Anyanwu and Mallory Aurichio were drawn to play, and Taylor won.

- CeremonyTaylor vetoes herself; Haley renominates Lyric — The season's fourth straight veto save. Final nominees: Drew Campbell, Melody Morris and Lyric Medeiros.
- MomentThe Toolshed lines up against Drew — Lyric was the cover: the Toolshed lined up the votes to cut Drew Campbell while keeping him in the dark. Lyric spent the night crying with Chuk.

- CompetitionDrew Campbell wins the Week 4 BB Block Buster, "Paw Patrol Dino" — Drew, the majority's real target, solved a two-layer dinosaur puzzle first and pulled himself off the block.
- EvictionLyric Medeiros evicted 8–3 (blindside) — With Drew safe the votes pointed at Melody, until Dee, Devens and Angela flipped the house onto Lyric hours before the show. Only Kamu, Yash and Chuk voted to keep her.
- MomentLyric's exit: reads the room, names Rome — Lyric told Julie she was "not surprised" and "grateful," correctly named Kamu, Yash and Chuk as her votes, and said she wants to pursue things with Rome outside the house.
- CompetitionLaTrice Verrett wins the Week 5 HOH on the Wall — Clinging to a tilting wall while doused in water and slime, LaTrice outlasted Kamu after about 90 minutes. The oldest houseguest in the cast, she became the oldest ever to win the Wall on a regular season, and the first HOH from outside the Red Corner.

- CeremonyLaTrice nominates Haley, Chuk and Barrett — LaTrice planned to backdoor Haley, but Yash talked up Chuk as the bigger threat and Kamu turned on his Red Corner allies. Haley and Chuk were the first Red Corner members nominated all season, with Barrett the pawn.

- CompetitionKamuela Kirk wins the Week 5 Power of Veto — In "Saturday Night Veto," players crossed a light-up dance floor on remembered green tiles; a red tile sent you back to the start. Kamu beat Barrett Pfeiffer in the final round.

- CeremonyThe first unused veto of the season — Kamu left Haley, Chuk and Barrett on the block, telling the Diary Room he needed to distance himself from the Red Corner and "move differently."
- MomentDee shows Kamu the Bribe; Angela's lie unravels — Dee Valladares revealed her secret BB Bribe to Kamu, after already telling Devens. Angela Murray admitted to the Red Corner she had lied about her Lyric vote, then broke down in tears.

- EvictionChuk Anyanwu evicted 9–1 — Haley cast the only vote to keep him. Chuk refused to hug LaTrice on his way out, payback for her declining his handshake before the comp, and told Julie "LaLa is legitimately confused about this game."
- CompetitionYash Patel wins the Week 6 HOH, "Bugs in the System" — Yash beat Barrett Pfeiffer in the final round for his first Head of Household. His only earlier win was the Week 1 Block Buster.

- TwistMelody becomes "Lord of the Latrine" — Melody Morris lost her Time Capsule challenge and drew BB23's latrine punishment: bathroom attendant, unlocking the door every time someone needed it.

- CeremonyDevens pulls Dee down with the Diamond Veto and names Kamu — Yash left his own veto unused. Then Rick Devens, after agonizing in the hammock ("you can't play these games scared"), used the Diamond Power of Veto on Dee Valladares and named Kamuela Kirk himself.

- CompetitionAngela Murray wins the Week 6 BB Block Buster — Ten red and ten yellow balls whipped around a wind tunnel. While the others chased them through the air, Angela worked from the floor and buzzed in first.
- EvictionKamuela Kirk evicted 8–1 — The Mosh Pit, a seven-person alliance formed that week, voted as a bloc. LaTrice Verrett cast the only vote to keep him.
- CompetitionDee Valladares wins the Week 7 HOH — Paul Abrahamian hosted a timed obstacle course with seven buttons to hit. Drew Campbell set the time to beat until Dee ran it down, after Barrett Pfeiffer and Mallory Aurichio threw it. Her second HOH, the first houseguest with two.

- MomentYash lies his way through the Mosh Pit meeting — At a Mosh Pit meeting Yash pinned the plotting on Drew Campbell and Barrett Pfeiffer, then admitted to the cameras he was lying.
- TwistDrew wins the "Never-Not Pass" — America voted Drew Campbell into the Time Capsule, and he won BB15's Never-Not Pass: permanent immunity from being a Have-Not, and nothing else.
- CeremonyDee nominates LaTrice, Drew and Taylor — Dee called all three "sus." Drew was the shock: a week into the Mosh Pit with her, he was up because his allies believed his information ran in every direction.
- MomentTaylor makes Drew back down — At the ceremony Taylor Brown and LaLa accused Drew of lying and demanded to know when Taylor had targeted the Icons. Drew, calling himself the biggest liar in the house, conceded she never actually named anyone.
- MomentLaLa breaks down; Yash calls Drew "spineless" — LaTrice 'LaLa' Verrett, frozen out of the vote talks, broke down more than once and said every group she joins gets dismantled. Yash Patel called Drew "spineless" for taking orders from "daddy" Devens.

- MomentLaLa smooths things over with Angela — Still stinging from the Kamu vote and the nomination-ceremony fight, LaLa went to Angela Murray and patched things up.

Fan awards went to Dan Gheesling (Favorite Winner), Janelle Pierzina (Best to Never Win), "Floaters, grab a life vest!" (Favorite Iconic Quote) and The Cookout (Best Alliance).
- CompetitionDrew Campbell wins the Week 7 BB Block Buster, "BB Grand Cliptacular" — The nominees matched clues to clips from past seasons in boxes marked A, B and C. Drew won and left Mallory and Taylor to face the vote.
- MomentBarrett tells the Icons he won't vote Mallory out — When the target moved from Drew to Mallory, Barrett Pfeiffer told the Icons directly he would not be a vote against her.

- CompetitionDee wins the candelabra build — Dee Valladares took her own safety, gave the spare Stone of Safety to Rick Devens, and sent Drew Campbell and Haley Thogmartin to fight next.
- CompetitionDrew beats Haley, saves Angela, sacrifices Barrett — Drew won Cody's cart-and-crops puzzle, said out loud he'd considered saving Melody Morris, gave his Stone of Safety to Angela Murray instead, and sent Barrett Pfeiffer in against Haley.

Players memorized the order of superhero comic covers and rebuilt it from a pile seeded with fakes, and Yash finished 26 seconds ahead of Devens for his third veto.
- CeremonyYash declines to use the veto — All three nominees pitched him and all three failed. Dee told Barrett he'd "go from 6'6 to 5'2." Yash kept the Icons on the block, believing Taylor would be the replacement.
- MomentThe newbies call a ceasefire — Barrett, Drew, Melody, Taylor and Yash agreed not to target one another until the Icons were gone. Devens asked Barrett what happened to the Crossovers and got four words: "Social came in, man."

Dee dropped first, then Melody, Devens and Barrett, leaving Yash against Drew, and Yash stepped off as part of a deal. At 13:06:21 it was the third-longest endurance comp in Big Brother history, about 47 minutes short of Jennifer Vasquez's 13:53 from BB6.
- MomentDrew swears on his sister's life — The deal: Drew would not nominate Yash next HOH and would vote to keep Taylor Brown. Yash only believed him once Drew swore on his sister Natalie's life.

- TwistVince Panaro's Pharaoh's Curse — After the live show BB27 runner-up Vince Panaro arrived from Egypt in 1922 with a Pharaoh's treasure. Alone in separate rooms with one button each, the final five could all take $1,000 if nobody pressed, or the first to press took $10,000. Devens pressed, for his family. Only then did the curse land: an extra eviction within three days, with only the HOH and veto winner safe.
- CompetitionDevens wins the "Reverse the Curse" Tiny HOH — Using Pyramid Pinchers, the four eligible players rebuilt miniature sarcophagi to match the originals; outgoing HOH Melody sat out. It ran just over four hours before Devens won.
- CeremonyDevens nominates Drew and Melody side by side — Melody was the target, but beside anyone else Drew would win the veto and save her. Nominating both meant a Drew veto could rescue only one of them.
- MomentDrew asks how many times his allies get to nominate him — Devens on the week: "I don't want to put Drew in a situation where he has to choose between his flirtmance and his dad, because I think we all know what a young man is gonna choose."

- EvictionMelody Morris evicted 2–1 on the HOH's tiebreak — Drew voted against Taylor and Dee against Melody, so Devens broke the tie and sent Melody out as the fifth juror. This was the curse's extra eviction, unleashed when he took the $10,000.
- MomentDrew breaks down after Melody walks out — Melody hugged Drew and told him to win it all. He held it together through the vote, then cried once she was gone.

- EvictionDee Valladares evicted 1–0 — At Final 4 the veto holder casts the only vote. Drew teared up and evicted Dee, in 4th, as the sixth juror. She laughed it off and called him a "little weasel."
- CompetitionFinal HOH Part 1: the kite on the spinning log — That night the final three held kites on a spinning log through fake rain and shocks. Drew fell first, Devens after nearly an hour, and Taylor won Part 1. Episode 40 aired the start; the result aired on the finale.

- EvictionDevens evicts Drew Campbell in 3rd place — Devens cut the ally who had saved him at Final 4: "This is a total betrayal, and I know that." Drew became the seventh juror.
- MomentThe jury roundtable, hosted by Chelsie Baham — The BB26 winner sat down with the jury after Dee filled them in on the final week. It stayed civil, a long way from the Angela vs. Melody fight.
- CeremonyRick Devens wins Big Brother 28, 6–1 — LaTrice cast the only vote for Taylor; Angela, Barrett, Yash, Melody, Dee and Drew voted Devens, the first Survivor contestant to win Big Brother.
- MomentDevens also wins America's Favorite Houseguest — Yash and Drew rounded out the top three. Devens is only the second houseguest to win the game and AFP in the same season, after Taylor Hale in BB24, and leaves with $810,000. Julie then announced Big Brother is renewed for Seasons 29 and 30.
