Jerry MacDonald
At 75, the oldest houseguest ever to play American Big Brother at the time — a Marine Corps veteran who battled the whole house to a 3rd-place finish.
The Story
A 75-year-old Marine Corps veteran, honorably discharged in 1954, Jerry entered as the oldest person ever to play the game.
Blunt and combative, he became the house's moral scorekeeper — clashing repeatedly with the younger players and openly feuding with eventual winner Dan Gheesling, whom he accused of swearing falsely on the cross and going back on his word.
Dan won the final HOH and cast the sole vote to evict Jerry at the final three. Jerry placed 3rd; Dan won the season over runner-up Memphis Garrett.
Signature Moment
Jerry's running war with Dan Gheesling — cross-swearing accusations and all — became one of BB10's defining generational clashes.
