Jason De Puy's second swing at a bloc in under a week. The Court Jesters got walked straight to the vets by Drew Campbell, so Jason rebuilt smaller and quieter — Rome Seymour and LaTrice Verrett, no returnee anywhere near it. Formed on the night the house sent Ashley Trail out 14-0.

Dee's second alliance and, by her own admission, the one where her loyalty actually lives — a returnee-heavy bloc with Devens, Angela, Barrett and Drew. Two of the five are sitting in The Red Corner at the same time, which is a bill that comes due eventually.

Jason De Puy's pitch to pick off the three returning vets, starting with Rick Devens — the man he'd already nicknamed "Big Daddy." It never survived the day: Drew Campbell was a Crossover the whole time and walked the plan straight to Dee, Devens and Angela. Only Jason and Melody ever meant it.

Born in the HOH room and named for Kamu's MMA corner — Dee and Devens folding Kamu, Haley and Chuk into the season's first real bloc. It cracked before it ever swung: Devens tipped Angela off within the day, and Dee made sure he knew whose head it would land on.

The Toolshed

Formed: Week 2
Dissolved: Week 5

The mega-alliance Devens built with his first HOH — folding most of The Red Corner and The Crossovers into one eight-person bloc that Drew Campbell christened "The Toolshed." The biggest power group of the mid-game — and already cracking from the inside.

The Honor Society

Formed: Week 3
Dissolved: Week 6

The four-woman bloc the house never took seriously -- Dee, Angela, LaTrice and Taylor drew a line in Week 3 and made it official. It was fraying from the first night: Angela was already privately calling Taylor a winner threat while sitting in the same alliance, and by Week 6 Dee and Angela were on the block together while LaTrice prayed for Haley's exit.

The Wolf Pack

Formed: Week 4
Dissolved: Week 6

The bloc that actually ran the middle of the season: Kamu and Yash tied to Dee and Devens, with a foot on both sides of the house. It got renamed almost as often as it met -- The Tethers, The Bermuda Triangle, The Primaries, all the same Devens-Kamu-Yash core with Dee or Taylor swapped in. It ended the way it had to: Devens spent the Diamond Veto to put Kamu on the block.

For the American People

Formed: Week 5
Dissolved: Week 6

The season's underdog ticket -- Drew, Barrett, Melody and Mallory, four names nobody was counting, who spent a week trying to work out what the initials could stand for so they could say it on air. They never got to run the house on their own; they got absorbed into The Mosh Pit instead, where they quietly outnumber the icons four to three.

The Covenant

Formed: Week 6
Dissolved: Week 6

LaTrice put a name on it, which is how you know she meant it -- LaTrice, Kamu, Yash and Taylor, the four left standing outside the Mosh Pit's majority. It was christened on Day 41 and blown apart within forty-eight hours when Devens dropped Kamu onto the block.

The Mosh Pit

Formed: Week 6
Dissolved: Week 10

Seven names in the backyard on a Sunday night, and the game tilted. The Crossovers and For the American People merged into one seven-person majority -- Dee, Devens, Angela, Drew, Barrett, Melody and Mallory -- against the five left outside it. It is the biggest bloc BB28 has produced, and the four ex-F.A.P. members outnumber the three icons inside it.

The Ceasefire

Formed: Week 10
Dissolved: Week 10

The five newbies — Barrett, Drew, Melody, Taylor and Yash — agree not to point at each other until the three Icons are gone. Melody's read: run it properly and it is the top five. Taylor and Yash already do not trust Drew to honour it.
