Yash won it. And because the winner of the final round did not just save himself but decided who did not survive at all, Yash Patel ended Haley Thogmartin's game.

The others climbed back into 2026 in costume and in triumph and Haley was simply left behind on the arena floor, crying, as the set went dark around her. Seven weeks of scrambling off the block — the Week 4 HOH, the "Newton's Apples" Block Buster save, three separate weeks she talked her way out of the target — and it ended in a medieval courtyard at the hands of a houseguest who had never once been chosen to fight all night.
Haley is the last pre-juror of BB28. Everyone still standing is in the jury: Barrett, Drew Campbell, LaTrice, Melody Morris, Taylor Brown, Yash, Rick Devens, Dee Valladares and Angela Murray. Nine seats, nine houseguests, and from here the money is decided by people who are already inside the game.
Then the show did something almost unfair to a viewer already this far into the hour: it ran an entire week.
"2026: A Zing Odyssey." Zingbot narrated a two-part video and the house answered trivia on it, and it came down to a tiebreaker between Drew, Yash and Melody — count the minutes between two competition timestamps. Drew was closest. Drew Campbell is the Head of Household, his first of the season, from a man who nine days ago was a guaranteed boot, then won a Block Buster to save himself, and has now taken the throne. Yash, for his part, says he threw it on purpose rather than put his name on a jury-phase eviction.
Drew nominated LaTrice Verrett, Taylor Brown and Yash Patel — and in doing so kept every Crossover and Melody off the block, declined Devens's standing offer to be a pawn, and pointedly did not touch an Icon. Dee's read of it was not kind. For an HOH who has spent the whole season saying he wanted the big alliances nuked, it was a remarkably careful three chairs.
The veto ran on gold. Twenty-five nuggets carried across a balance beam in the year 1849, every fall resetting your pile to nothing. Yash did it slowly and did not fall. "It's him versus him at this point," he said — and he was right, because he then walked into the veto ceremony and took himself off the block.
Which left Drew with the one decision he had spent all week avoiding. He waffled. He had Angela, Devens, Dee, Barrett and Melody to choose from and no good answer among them. Devens had already volunteered — put himself up as a pawn, openly, hoping Drew would use the slot to backdoor Yash later. Drew took the pawn and refused the plan. Rick Devens is the replacement nominee.
The block for Thursday: LaTrice Verrett, Taylor Brown and Rick Devens. One of them wins the Block Buster and walks. The other two face the first jury vote of BB28.
