Time-tripping to a 1967 “Festival of Love,” Devens raced together the 12-piece “Flower Power” poster and buzzed in seconds ahead of Jason — stacking the Power of Veto on top of his HOH. He called the solve his “A Beautiful Mind” moment. One man, the whole week in his hand.

Together since Day 2, Rome and Lyric staged a very public split to drop Lyric's threat level so she could work votes freely. Drew clocked it the instant it happened — “why now?” — and warned Devens the whole thing was a con.

Sensing the freeze-out, a spiraling Rome turned on Chuk — “You are unbearable as a human being!” — and nearly came to blows with Haley over a “small balls” jab, his chair tipping as Barrett, Kamu and Chuk stepped between them.

Devens used the veto to pull Lyric off the block, then slid Rome — never nominated, always the target — into the seat beside Jason and Melody. He pulled Rome aside first: “I'm sorry and you're welcome.” The plan, executed clean.

The tears came in waves. Melody broke down after the noms held (“the kid sitting alone at lunch”); LaTrice cried over Rome's betrayal while Taylor whispered to lay low and “let them kill each other”; then Rome and LaTrice cried it out in a hug. The recap didn't name itself Waterworks for nothing.
