Devens gathered both of his alliances — the Crossovers and the Red Corner — in the HOH room in the dead of night and merged them into a single eight-person powerhouse. Drew gave it a name: The Toolshed.

OTEV returns for its twentieth anniversary as a 1950s B-movie Blob, and Yash digs headshots out of the slime long enough to outlast Barrett in the final round — his second comp win in a single week.

Barrett Told the Icons No to Their Faces

Dee and Devens had to be the ones to tell Drew and Barrett that the target had moved to Mallory. Barrett didn't take the news, he answered it — flatly, to the icons, that he would not be a vote to send her home. He kept his word about eighteen hours later. It cost him nothing and changed nothing.

Six to Two, and One of Them Was Drew

Angela, Yash, Haley, Devens, LaTrice — and Drew, who had been sitting on the block beside her that same morning. He won his way off, then voted her out. Melody and Barrett were the only two who didn't, exactly as advertised. The resistance was fully formed and still lost by four.

Mallory Named Her Own Two Votes

Julie asked who she thought had kept her, and Mallory got it right on the first try: Barrett and Melody. She read the house correctly on the way out of it — which is the specific tragedy of her game, because she read it correctly on the way in, too.

Drew Picks the Icons Over Melody

Drew Campbell beat Haley Thogmartin at Cody Calafiore's crop puzzle, weighed protecting Melody Morris out loud, and protected Angela Murray instead. Then he handed Barrett Pfeiffer a Stone of Sacrifice and shoved him into the arena.

Barrett Walks the Beam and Leaves Haley Behind

Grapes, a wine press and a balance beam, with Tiffany Mitchell calling it. Barrett Pfeiffer got his across and Haley Thogmartin did not — her second loss of the night — and Barrett walked off with safety plus two Stones of Safety and two of Sacrifice.

Devens Asked for the Block. He Got It.

Rick Devens volunteered as the pawn, hoping Drew would spend the slot backdooring Yash. Drew took the pawn and threw away the plan. Devens is the replacement nominee with nothing bought for it — a big play from a man who thinks he needs one.

Barrett Finally Grabs the Crown

Nine weeks in, Barrett wins his first HOH — outlasting Dee in a ball-roll comp where one wrong color sent you back to the start.
