Eviction Night
Thursday's live show was a two-for-one, and it belonged to the houseguest nobody was watching. Melody Morris — winless all season — won the final BB Blockbuster of BB28 to rip herself off the block, flipping the whole first vote. With Melody safe, the house turned on Barrett Pfeiffer, voting 3-1 to send him to jury (Dee, Devens and Drew for the boot; Melody the lone vote for Taylor). Barrett kept it short: a quick "I love you all" and out the door as the third juror.
Then the reset button. Melody won the double-eviction HOH minutes later and put up the two remaining Icons, Dee Valladares and Rick Devens. Devens answered the only way he knows how — winning the Power of Veto and pulling himself down. Melody's replacement was Yash Patel, and the deal-maker's season ended right there: evicted 2-1 (Devens and Drew for Yash; Taylor the lone vote for Dee) as the fourth juror.
Yash went out swinging, telling Julie he never trusted Drew — "weasely" — and tipping his cap to Dee and Devens' "social dark magic." When the dust settled, seven had become five: Drew, Melody, Taylor, Devens and Dee are your BB28 Final Five, with Melody holding the keys.
