Down bad on the block, Mallory asked Dee who she actually wanted out, heard "Yash," and turned it into fuel: "I'm Mallory and I've got this." Then the aerospace engineer solved the pipe puzzle and won the whole thing.

Drew Ran Back and Said "C"

A trivia comp about Big Brother on Big Brother's thousandth night: three clues, thirty seconds each, a wall of clips, three boxes. Drew ran back, said "C," and was right. Mallory wasn't. The house's original target pulled himself off the block by knowing his own show better than the woman sitting next to him.

Six to Two, and One of Them Was Drew

Angela, Yash, Haley, Devens, LaTrice — and Drew, who had been sitting on the block beside her that same morning. He won his way off, then voted her out. Melody and Barrett were the only two who didn't, exactly as advertised. The resistance was fully formed and still lost by four.

Mallory Named Her Own Two Votes

Julie asked who she thought had kept her, and Mallory got it right on the first try: Barrett and Melody. She read the house correctly on the way out of it — which is the specific tragedy of her game, because she read it correctly on the way in, too.

"I Should Have Tried Harder"

She threw the HOH. She said so on the stage, without being cornered into it: she got nervous at the end, slowed down a little, and should have tried harder. A week later the house made her pay for the week she declined to control. Still called the summer awesome.
