While the eight-person Toolshed huddled in the dead of night to plot his exit, Rome Seymour prowled the house sensing the freeze-out — drifting into rooms that went quiet, striking up conversations nobody wanted, and getting louder and stranger as the 3 a.m. meeting he wasn't invited to ran on without him.

Devens nominated Melody, Lyric and Jason, telling them they “didn't talk enough game,” while the real plan hummed underneath: if the veto gets used, Rome goes up as the backdoor target.

Jason unraveled on the block: crying that he wasn't picked for the Time Capsule, asking whether “people hate him,” and insisting the nominations weren't Devens' call at all but Angela's.
