The Recap
Power of Veto episode: Devens completed the sweep he began Sunday: he won the “Flower Power” veto (a 1967-themed festival-poster puzzle), then used it exactly as the Toolshed drew it up. He removed Lyric from the block — after she promised she’d never nominate him — and named Rome Seymour as the replacement, executing the backdoor. Final nominations: Rome, Jason and Melody, with Rome the clear target for Thursday’s live Block Buster and eviction vote.
The fallout was loud. Rome, blindsided by the freeze-out, turned on Chuk and then dissolved into tears, comforted by LaTrice. Lyric — saved but stunned — tried to steady him: “Don’t waste it. Keep playing your game. Keep winning.” Angela, who first spotted Rome rallying votes and pushed Devens to strike, spent the night running the house from inside an egg costume and winning her shouting match with Jason. And Melody, left on the block, started a revenge list with Devens’ name at the top. The showmance is split, the target is set, and the Block Buster will decide whether the backdoor actually lands.
