Key Moments

Three Timelines, Three Safe HGs

Three Timelines, Three Safe HGs

Rome (1988 mall), Chuk (2018 Fiji), and Jason (2010 Vegas) each won their era's safety trip, locking immunity from the first eviction and +3 to whoever drafted them.

Rome Rings Up the First Win

Rome balanced his way through the Long Beach mall comp for the season's first safety and dragged BB26's Angela Murray back to the present as his prize.

Chuk Conquers the Fiji River

Chuk Conquers the Fiji River

A Survivor-style plank crossing (with a Jeff Probst cameo) was no match for Chuk, who grabbed safety and recruited Survivor 50 winner Rick Devens.

Jason Breaks the Curse in Vegas

The self-declared "cursed" houseguest flipped the script, acing the 2010 Vegas memory booth to bank the third and final safety win.

Rachel Reilly vs. a Velociraptor

Four-time legend Rachel Reilly crashed the premiere with catchphrases blazing - then got chased by a raptor into a volcano, freezing the first HOH on a cliffhanger.

12 Vials, 14 Houseguests

12 Vials, 14 Houseguests

Enzo's Meow Meow Industries sent the house scrambling for 12 vials of BB-Tonium, and the math was brutal. Barrett and Ashley came up empty, locking them out of the night's time-travel comps entirely. Barrett spent his sidelined evening clocking a possible Ashley-and-Rome spark before week one's dust had settled.

The Recap

Big Brother 28 blasted off with its "Time Trip" theme, splitting 14 new houseguests across three eras of reality-TV history - and letting the winner of each trip yank a bona fide reality icon back to the present.

Three timelines, three safe houseguests. In 1988 Long Beach, Rome balanced his way to victory in a mall-themed comp and brought back BB26's Angela Murray. In 2018 Fiji, Chuk out-crossed a Survivor-style river gauntlet (yes, Jeff Probst cameo'd) to earn safety and recruit Survivor 50's Rick Devens. And in 2010 Las Vegas, the self-proclaimed "cursed" Jason locked in the third safety win with a slushy-fueled memory challenge. All three are immune from the first eviction and bank +3 apiece.

Then a raptor showed up. Four-time BB legend Rachel Reilly stormed the house tossing catchphrases before getting chased by a velociraptor straight into a volcano, ending the first HOH competition on a cliffhanger. Add a teased fourth returnee (ahem... Survivor champ Dee Valladares) and the twist count is already off the charts.

No nominations, no eviction tonight: just three safe houseguests, three reality icons in the mix, and an HOH crown still up for grabs when we pick back up. Buckle up.
