The Recap
With the premiere's cliffhanger settled, Dee Valladares won the season's first HOH — beating Angela and Devens in a prehistoric fire-puzzle — and banished Devens' losing team to Have-Not misery (slop, cold showers, a room one houseguest called a 'torture chamber'). Then Dee got busy: Angela pitched her The Crossovers ('stand united or fall divided') with Devens, Drew and Barrett, while Dee quietly infiltrated the newbies' Red Corner — Kamu, Haley and Chuk (named for Kamu's MMA background, with Chuk insisting they add 'a woman' since all-guy alliances keep blowing up). The cracks showed fast: Devens leaked the Red Corner to Angela, and Dee was furious, warning that if it blows up, it falls on him. Meanwhile Rome and Lyric were kissing in the bunk beds on Day 2 — 'sorry to her grandparents' — the season's first showmance, sending Yash out of the room. At the ceremony Dee nominated Mallory, Yash and Taylor, framing it as 'one from each team' since she came in late — but Mallory is the real target. Yash felt betrayed ('after I helped her win HOH'), Taylor called it a 'gut punch,' and Mallory, already feeling defeated, broke down. No veto, no eviction tonight — but the house is already picking sides.
