The Recap
Six weeks in, the house finally handed power to the quietest man in it — and he spent it on the three loudest women.
Yash Patel won the Week 6 Head of Household on "Bugs In the System," a Time-Trip jump back to 1999 that asked the house to spot which computer zone was carrying the most Y2K bugs. He outlasted Barrett Pfeiffer in the final round for his first competition win of the season, and walked into the HOH room with one rule already written: no men. Devens, Drew, Barrett and Kamu were safe before he'd unpacked.
That left the nomination chairs to Angela Murray, Dee Valladares and Haley "Thog" Thogmartin — the first all-women block of BB28, and a nomination speech that pointedly settled a Week 1 debt: Dee put Yash up in her HOH, so Yash put Dee up in his. Before the ceremony Dee reached for the one thing nobody else in the house has — the secret BB Bribe — and offered him $5,000 to leave her off. He turned it down flat. Five grand is real money; a clean path to $750,000 is more.
The week's other casualty never went near the block. Melody Morris drew the BB Time Capsule and came out the wrong side of it: no power, just a punishment. For 24 hours she is the "Lord of the Latrine" — in costume, guarding the bathroom door, announcing every single houseguest who walks through it. Around her the house kept splintering, with LaTrice Verrett and Haley still trading "bully" accusations days after their blow-up, and Angela circling the hot tub begging Taylor Brown to talk Yash out of it.
No eviction tonight. But a target has been named, a bribe has been refused, and there is still a Diamond Power of Veto sitting in Devens' back pocket with an expiration date coming.
