No eviction tonight — this was HOH-and-nominations Sunday, and it belonged to a wrestling quiz and a diamond.
The week opened in a ring: "Wrestlegasm '85" sent the houseguests through a true/false gauntlet over a March 31, 1985 wrestling match — miss one and you were "down for the count," with BB alum Jessie "Mr. Pectacular" Godderz body-slamming his way through a cameo. Kamu Kirk answered his way to the crown — the third straight week a Toolshed member holds HOH (Dee, then Devens, now Kamu).
Then the Time Capsule cracked open. America had voted Rick Devens in, and he pulled out the season's biggest power yet: the Diamond Power of Veto. Unlike a normal veto, it lets him save himself and name the replacement nominee with no HOH input — and it's live for six weeks. Devens told exactly one person, his ally Dee Valladares, and the two agreed to keep it a secret from Angela, Drew and the rest of the house. He's already said he'll only spend it to protect himself or Dee — a loaded gun sitting quietly in a drawer.
At the ceremony, Kamu put up LaTrice, Mallory and Lyric — but the block is a decoy. His real target is Jason De Puy, and the plan is a backdoor, an idea Drew planted after Jason survived last week's Block Buster. "It's not personal," Kamu explained. "Mallory's strategic, and LaLa hasn't talked game to me once all season." Lyric is the intended pawn, safe if the veto falls the right way.
Underneath the game, the house is reshuffling fast. The women drew a line and made it official — the Honor Society: Dee, Angela, LaTrice and Taylor — though Angela was already privately eyeing Taylor as a "winner threat." Kamu and Drew turned their bromance into a named two-man deal, the Handymen, complete with a viral HOH-bed photo op. And the eight-person Toolshed that's run the house for three weeks is audibly cracking: Barrett was on the feeds cursing the alliance he's still technically in, and Drew is quietly working against Chuk and Haley.
Over on Friday's BB: Unlocked, Jerry O'Connell, Taylor Hale and Derrick Levasseur — with guest Ross Mathews — broke down the Time Capsule powers reveal and Rome's eviction fallout, including Taylor's surprise keep-Rome vote from last week. The Time Capsule twist is an America's-vote engine, so its biggest swing yet landing on Devens is exactly the kind of beat the companion show was built to tee up.
The block is set, the target is Jason, and a diamond nobody knows about is sitting in Devens' pocket. The veto ceremony can't come fast enough.
